Hi, I’m Carmen Artigas. I studied fashion design in Milan, and one of my early highlights was curating a shoe museum in Mexico City in the early ’90s. In 1999, I took a sabbatical in India to study natural dyeing and collaborated with SEWA to help preserve endangered textiles in Kutch. In 2010, I introduced the first Ethical Fashion courses in New York at FIT, Parsons, and Pratt. More recently, in 2021, I collaborated with indigo farmers in Oaxaca, who are now facing serious challenges due to climate change. @<b tabindex=”-1″>carmen.artigas
