Hello everyone. I am Mela and I am a conservator in the UK with a textiles specialism. I have always had a pull to South Asia and South Asian textiles and I am so pleased to find this MAP Academy course to learn and connect with you all. I am particularly interested in the conservation and display of South Asian textiles and dress in collections I work with, researching with others to understand them better and connecting collections with communities.
